Anything VII

I had an email from the Master (SV) today. He says he just now got his computer working after a hd crash and was surprised that the site is down.

Thank you, everybody, for the suggestions for other sites. I'm going to check them all out. And I especially appreciate Asis having this site so we can all stay in touch and talk about everything.

<font face="georgia">Well, I suppose I could have spelled it correctly (ya think?). It's Odyssey 5. I little bit of "The Matrix" in the plot, but not that much. Space shuttle goes up in orbit 5 years in the future, and they witness the complete and utter distruction of the earth. Kind of like the Alderon planet getting toasted by the Death Star in "Star Wars IV". Then some entity who just happens to be passing through offers them a chance to keep it from happening. Lots of behind the scenes activity that the crew didn't see the first time around, but are certainly seeing things differently the second time around. Good stories, plot is getting better as it goes, and a major character and good guy has been killed (yikes!) off. Like Stargate SG1, I think someone else will pick it up from Showtime. Worth a look, but it'll take about 3 or 4 episodes before the hook gets set.</font>

That wasn't suppose to be a slite on the spelling, I honestly never heard of it. Anyway, sounds very interexting. Is the acting good. Not too hokey in the plot area. Good Scifi? Need to Replace Farscape and Firefly and the rest. I dont get showtime, so I don';t get to see it anyway. I would love to be watching JMS's new stuff, but hey...Ill wait till it comes out on the Non pay channels.

I've been asked by Merle to pass the word that he can not get into Host booard through his Firewall. Is there anything that the admins can think of?

I hear ya Ian. How were the ENT scenes? I loved that part of the book when they ran into him. Really cool concepts.
